Congratulations to the readers who won the North Coast Music Festival tickets! You’ve probably met your Orientation Group by now, I hope, and are doing all sorts of dumb stuff together. Let me give you a hint: You don’t need to go to most of it. It’s all kind of useless. In the SACK, Many Voices One Community, blah blah blah. Boring!

Today’s the first official day of Orientation across most of the Northeast, so we figured we’d celebrate with a little contest. There are two parts, actually, the second we’ll show you tomorrow. But the first one I think you all will appreciate.

We’ve got some new shirts coming in any day now, and we want to give some of a readers a chance to get one before anyone else on campus. We also want some of the class of 2014 to experience the magic that is W2FY. So we sat down and came up with this: over the course of Orientation, we’ll be giving away SIX new t-shirts — three to current students, and three to freshman. The W2FY Back to School Referral Contest — Official Rules

Over the next 6 days, W2FY will be giving away six new W2FY t-shirts (value $15/shirt). The entry rules are as follows:

If you a freshman: Comment on this post with the name of your school and how you found out about W2FY.

If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior: Comment on this post with the name of your school and also the name of a freshman that you have shown W2FY. Then, get that person to comment on this post with their school and your name as their referrer.

Three winners from each category will be randomly selected at 11:59 pm September 6, and announced September 7. Must comment using an official school email address to qualify. Only one entry per person.
