Beer Review: New Glarus Fat Squirrel Ale
I’ve gone home to Wisconsin and just bought a sample pack from my favorite Wisconsin brewery, New Glarus. They have a variety of beers, but my favorite is the Fat Squirrel English Brown Ale. I highly recommend it if you like Newcastle Brown Ale. Fat Squirrel pours dark brown with a small head and little carbonation. It tastes smokey and chocolatey with definite nutty notes.
