So, Cash Cab is definitely one of my favorite shows on the Discovery Channel and Discovery Channel is definitely my favorite TV channel. It has the best shows imaginable. I could watch Swords, Deadliest Catch, Man vs. Wild, Cash Cab, and Myth Busters all day everyday. I just found rules for a drinking game for the Cash Cab and it brings a whole new level to the show. Check out official rules here. Not to mention you can always add additional rules like drink every time they get the answer correct or you are able to answer the question correctly before they can. I also read some stuff on Cash Cab that really enlightened me. First of all, and probably the most disappointing, the money they give the contestants at the end of the episode isn’t real! Apparently they get a check mailed to them after the show airs on TV. Secondly, Ben Bailey gets all of the questions read to him in his ear piece so that he doesn’t have to read the question, focus on the road, and activate the lights. Additionally Ben Bailey is a real cab driver, he took the test, passed, and drives a real NYC cab. So, next time you’re watching the show think, you could be drinking. Finally, if anyone knows of anyway to get on the Cash Cab let me know because it’s my New Year’s resolution to get on TV.
