As a self-absorbed narcissist, you can probably imagine I’m pretty big into working out and flooding my body with all sorts of supplements and shit. Get big or die trying, right? 
Anyway, The Dumbasshedron showed me the site WheyCheap.com the other day, which is basically Woot for supplements. I ran out of protein powder and the supplement of the day happened to be Gold Standard 100% Whey. I’m a big fan of Gold Standard, generally their stuff tastes pretty decent, so I bought the stuff real quick without even looking at the flavor. It was a cheap price, so I figured I’d be fine. Anyway, the stuff came in the other day, and it turns out the flavor is “Apple Pie.” Let me tell you something–this shit is the most disgusting flavor of whey protein ever. Like makes me want to vomit kinda bad.
So word for the wise: if you’re ever on the hunt for some protein powder, don’t EVER get the Apple Pie flavored. Unlike the real thing, it tastes like shit and is completely un-American. On another note, if anyone wants 2 lbs of Gold Standard Apple Pie protein, let me know. You can have it for free.
