Editor’s Note: I think GraceisGone was high as shit when he wrote this, or at least hammered. What the fuck is going on here, I can’t say, but I guess it’s a thought provoking read…. or something.
Read this in the paper this morning, Mobs are born , and it got me thinking about another group, the Tea Party movement, who has been causing trouble lately.
Apparently in Philadelphia, teens are organizing themselves, via text messages and social networking sites, into massive flash mobs that haul ass down streets causing chaos as they go. The mobs break into stores, “assault pedestrians,” destroy public property, and, undoubtedly the best, scare the living shit out of the Tea Party movement. The Tea Party movement is a right wing protest group that has emerged over the past year arguing about what they see as “socialist” activities of the Obama administration. I can’t see them loving underprivileged kids from an east-coast urban center basically rioting because their after-school programs have been cut.
The Tea Party just can’t compete with that type of civil unrest. Fundamental conservatives, standing on the steps of the capitol with a few weak-ass signs are somewhat intimidating A bunch of fucking young bucks just creating their own running of the bulls from scratch, to protest…whatever it is they are “protesting”… is goddamn scary. Yes, of course being on capitol hill allows the conservatives to speak directly with our representatives by screaming in their faces. Nothing gets the attention of a member of Congress quite like calling him a “fag” as he walks into work. But, the hooligans of Philly just go right for the “catch-the-attention” of the world jugular and beat-up on rando old people. Tea Party just doesn’t quite have that chutzpah. It is one thing to hurl obscenities, but it is a completely different thing to take your fucking organization to the streets and prove a point. Hooligans of Philly making the Tea Partiers look like pussies. It isn’t 1763 anymore. It is 2010, and you have to bring the heat if you want to shake shit up a bit.
